Sportbike & Roadracing Instruction

How can I safely go faster?
How can I get specific feedback?

Overview
Many sportbike riding programs force you into a formulaic, one-size-fits-all template.  Trophy Point will help you achieve your unique, individual goals!

Sign up now for personal on-track coaching to learn the subtleties of advanced sportbike riding and racing!   Local pro and riding instructor, Ryan Gagliano, will work with you on the finer points of sportbike control, speed, and safety.

Between the track sessions, you’ll have a chance to discuss the riding techniques demonstrated.  You’ll use visual aids, such as track maps to assist you and to accelerate your learning.

After the day's instruction, you'll have a chance to walk the track with your instructor, looking at reference points and other track features up close!

Learn the following in an intense learning laboratory – the race track!

  • Preparation
  • Balance
  • Accelerating
  • Braking
  • Turning
  • Starting
  • Line selection
  • Race strategy
  • & More!

Is this for me?
Trophy Point on-track coaching is designed for those ranging from sportbiking newcomers to first year roadracers.  As we focus on Southern California tracks, a good rule of thumb is – if your lap times are slower than 1:26:00 at the Willow Springs Classic Course (aka “The Big Track”) – we can help!

About your instructor
Ryan Gagliano competes professionally in sportbike roadracing with WSMC.  After only a single track day, he started racing in January 2006 and trophied his first race that same weekend.  In 2006, Ryan reached the podium in 15 races, including 4 first place finishes.  He completed 2006 as runner-up in the Top Rookie Expert competition.

In 2007, his first full expert season, he trophied in 31 out of 34 races.  Ryan finished in the top three of all 750cc classes and rose to 7th place in the club’s overall championship.

This year, Ryan is back to developing a 750 machine and is looking to get back on top.
Ryan has extensive teaching experience in the U.S. Army, in business, and as an assistant instructor with both WSMC’s New Racer School and with TrackXperience.
